Breastfeeding Policies that Impact Public Health Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative
The Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative1, was developed by the World Health Organization and UNICEF in 1991 as a means of increasing breastfeeding rates, in order to decrease infant mortality. These steps were revised in 2018.
